My PC Hates Me

Just fell across this poor fellow’s bizarre experience with his PC. After a number of odd events things culminated in this:

“Then, yesterday, the king daddy of them all happened… It seems that Internet Explorer’s back button was causing my CD tray to pop open. Let me repeat: the BACK BUTTON on INTERNET EXPLORER was causing my CD TRAY to open!!”

This caused a lot of laughter from his colleagues. Read his blog here.

The PC is working fine. In fact it is going so well that browsing the Internet is a real pleasure again. Trying out new applications is a breeze. The combination of enjoyable browsing and ease of trying out applications is, it seems, a poisonous mixture with a very sweet taste.

My PC, secretly smurking at my lack of willpower, is allowing me to waste vast amounts of time. Whole days pass with no work being completed. Just a growing pile of tried and ‘tested’ software solutions to problems I probably never had nor will have.

Crafty trick PC, but I’ve rumbled you. Now back to work…!
